18th April Market

April Sunshine brought another lovely market with another set of brilliant crafty makers coming our in force to sell their wares. We had Knitting Needle bracelets, candle tea-cups, wonderful button earrings and geek-inspired bead accessories.

I love the sunshine that fills our market room at the Amersham, it compliments the relaxed and friendly atmosphere really beautifully. 

Also upstairs this month was a Zine swap and making workshop, hosted as part of the 'Pieces of Eight' exhibition (curated by the wonderful Ginger Joe) People were being encouraged to make their own zines by drawing, photocopying, writing, cutting and sticking it together as the day went along. Was such a lovely idea ZINESWAP.COM 

Shiver me Timbers!

Our next themed party is fast approaching and this time we're coming to you from the desert island shores of the Amersham Arms!

On Saturday 25th April, the Amersham's back room will transform into a little den of sea-themed treats, including ***SHARK ATTACK PHOTOBOOTH***ZOMBIE PIRATE DJ'S***MAGIC MERMAID FACEPAINTING***BLUE LAGOON COCKTAILS and more merry-making than you can shake a crab at.

All this and only 2 pieces of you treasure will get you in!

A Little Bazaar goes on a little trip

A little Bazaar has been invited to hold one of our brilliant little craft markets at a venue outside of New Cross!........well it's only 5 mins down the road in Deptford, but you have to start somewhere...

OOXXOO presents this evening of music and dancing at The Albany, Douglas Way, Deptford.

It's on Thursday 23rd April, 7.30pm-1am, and we will be taking some of our favourite sellers with us.

Come down to spend your pocket money and dance around like a monkey who's really excited!

A Little Bazaar presents....'THE ROBOT CLUB!'

After the success of our last themed party, we've decided to one every month! Every 1st Saturday of the month the Amersham will turn into a little wonderland, with lots of fun things going on for you to get involved in!

This month, on the 14th March, we are hosting our space themed ROBOT CLUB!

The Bazaar Cadets will transform the Amersham Arms to bring you another terribly silly night of merry making, and this time it's all coming to you from outer space! Expect Martian face painting, Interstellar Cakes and Cocktails, Alien Pinata, and Starship Photo Booth! Plus, make your own tin foil costume to wear whilst you dance the night away to all our favourite futuristic sounds from the Cosmic Bazaar Dj's

...and its only 2 of your earth pounds!

The Heartbreak Club!

For Valentine's Day we decided to host a big themed party after the market, and much fun was had by all!

We had a Heart shaped photobooth, love themed tattoo parlour, Brockley Ukulele group covering love songs, 'Dirty Den' kissing tent, Heart shaped pinata, and crazy cakes! All set to a slushy mix of cheesy ballads from our resident Bazaar Dj's

A Little Bazaar is the new monthly craft market, running every 3rd Saturday of the month at the Amersham Arms in New Cross, SE London.

Boasting Weird and wonderful craft stalls, with everything from hand-printed pants to moustache shaped biscuits, the market has already proved a hilarious success! A Little Bazaar aims to showcase innovative and affordable art and craft, but really we just like to show you all a jolly good time!
